Fuelstate is a precision sports nutrition app for runners. This Privacy Policy explains what information Fuelstate LLC collects, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not use health data for advertising.
Information we collect
- Email address if you join the waitlist, contact support, or sign in where email is provided.
- Athlete profile information you enter in the app, including preferences, run types, and fueling products.
- Health and fitness data you choose to authorize through Apple HealthKit, such as body mass, biological sex, heart rate, workouts, and routes.
- Location data during active runs to calculate distance, pace, and run context.
- Device, diagnostic, and crash information used to maintain app reliability.
How we use information
We use your information to calculate fueling targets, create run-specific plans, provide live run guidance, manage subscriptions, operate sync and support systems, prevent abuse, debug crashes, and improve Fuelstate.
HealthKit data
HealthKit data is used only to provide health, fitness, and fueling functionality in Fuelstate. Fuelstate does not sell HealthKit data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as necessary to provide app functionality at your direction.
Third-party services
Fuelstate may use service providers such as Supabase for data storage and sync, RevenueCat and Apple for purchases, Sentry for crash reporting, PostHog for product analytics if enabled in the app, and Strava only if you choose to connect it.
Waitlist data
If you join the website waitlist, we collect your email address to send launch-related updates. You can request removal at any time by emailing hello@fuelstate.app.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information as long as needed to provide Fuelstate, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data from within the app or by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
Children
Fuelstate is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Fuelstate evolves. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
